Garden Maintenance

Proper maintenance of a garden is very important to maintain the aesthetics of the space. For this reason, the appropriate maintenance program must be formed and observed (eg 3 times / month).

The work done in a garden maintenance program can be divided into work required by the lawn and work required by the plants. The usual tasks required for lawn maintenance are:

Τάσος ζαφείρης , φυτώριο , σπορά γρασιδιού , ζωοτροφές , Απολύμανσης , Απεντομώσεις , Μυοκτονίες

Mowing the lawn

Depending on the variety of the lawn, it must be cut to a certain height. During the winter when the lawn is dormant, a few haircuts are needed, but from the spring, when its vegetative growth resumes, and then more frequent haircuts are required.

Pesticide application

In many cases, grassy or broadleaf weeds (weeds) enter the lawn. These weeds can be removed either manually or by chemical control.

Disease management

The lawn often has problems due to fungal or insect infestations. In these cases, the use of appropriate pesticides is required in order to neutralize the infestation.

Lubrication application

Lubrication provides the lawn with the necessary amounts of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and trace elements required for the smooth development of the aboveground part and the root system but also to enhance disease resistance.

Lawn irrigation

Check the irrigation network for any losses or damage to sprinklers and irrigation pipes. Adjust, at regular intervals, the irrigation times depending on the weather conditions so that the lawn is adequately supplied with water.

Other tasks

E.g. sowing in lawn gaps, application of lawn aeration etc.

Proper maintenance of plants in your garden requires a series of tasks that include the following:

Pesticide application

Either by chemical control or by tools e.g. shovel.

Carving around plants

The soil around the plants should be dug at regular intervals in order to better receive the irrigation water and to facilitate the ventilation of the root system.

Plant Pruning

Pruning should be done either to create a satisfactory aesthetic result e.g. creation of a hedge, cutting of dry branches, etc., or for the "strengthening" of the plants as their ventilation and the entry of sunlight are favored.

Plant Fertilization

By adding mixed fertilizer during the period of stem growth.

Disease management

Insect infestations of plants are common, which are treated with the use of appropriate preparations.

Plant Irrigation

Irrigation network control and regulation of irrigation times.
